Job Description:

In this role you will contribute to the Direct Sales team sales targets. You will be responsible for growing sales by proactively prospecting for new opportunities within our existing customer base.


You will work with all the functional areas of the company to ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded while meeting the corporate goals and objectives.

Your exceptional service will contribute to Integrated Packaging's ability to retain its customers and grow sales.

Key Responsibilities of the position:

  • Maintain and expand sales within an existing customer base across all product lines to assist the company in hitting sales, growth and margin objectives
  • Establish and maintain rapport with existing and potential customers
  • Quickly develop core competencies in all aspects of our business, including products, services and pricing
  • Investigate and troubleshoot quality and customer service issues
  • Maintain a robust prospect pipeline, prepare proposals, submit quotes, maintain call reports, call action and call plans
  • Grow individual customer annual spend to a level where they can be transferred to the Account Management team
  • Maintain customer forecasting, weekly demand reviews and budgeting in Prophit.
  • Assist accounts receivable with customer invoice disputes
  • Assist customers with any tasks relevant to doing business with the company.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in sales-based or internal sales role
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • A proven track record for hunting and converting business opportunities
  • Ability to clearly illustrate your plans on reaching these targets on a monthly/quarterly basis working in collaboration with your team leader
  • Ability to identify and prioritise high value opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Exceptional multitasking ability, managing priorities to meet deadlines and client expectations
  • Ability to work with all areas of the business including Customer Service, Account Management and Business Development teams and Operations.
