As the Airports Strategic Project Lead, you will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Airports functions, processes, policies, procedures & operating models.
As part of this role you will be the Airports business unit representative and SME in broader cross-functional projects & programs and will be responsible for ensuring that Airports requirements are front & centre in the design of significant change initiatives.
You will design processes & help shape the operating model to deliver airport operations effectively for programs of work across customer service; digital and tech; strategic and people related initiatives.
This role is also responsible for acting as a key liaison point between the project team and the global Airports, providing a seamless implementation experience for strategic programs ensuring they are operationalised and fit for purpose.
To be successful in this role you will have:- Strong background in delivery/implementation methodologies, risk management and principles of change
- Deep understanding of airline operations, with airport operational experience highly regarded
- Ability and confidence to quickly identify key opportunities and issues in any business, and develop strategies or plans to capitalise on these opportunities or resolve issues-
- Ability to analyse data as well as develop and interpret metrics to identify trends
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects or initiatives with competing timelines
- Proven and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop strategies and plans to address negative trends
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal skills at all levels
- Ability to run forums with senior management membership/participation
- Ability to manage cross functional projects which involve multiple and diverse areas
