As the Airports Strategic Project Lead, you will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Airports functions, processes, policies, procedures & operating models.

As part of this role you will be the Airports business unit representative and SME in broader cross-functional projects & programs and will be responsible for ensuring that Airports requirements are front & centre in the design of significant change initiatives.

You will design processes & help shape the operating model to deliver airport operations effectively for programs of work across customer service; digital and tech; strategic and people related initiatives.

This role is also responsible for acting as a key liaison point between the project team and the global Airports, providing a seamless implementation experience for strategic programs ensuring they are operationalised and fit for purpose.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong background in delivery/implementation methodologies, risk management and principles of change
  • Deep understanding of airline operations, with airport operational experience highly regarded
  • Ability and confidence to quickly identify key opportunities and issues in any business, and develop strategies or plans to capitalise on these opportunities or resolve issues-
  • Ability to analyse data as well as develop and interpret metrics to identify trends
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects or initiatives with competing timelines
  • Proven and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop strategies and plans to address negative trends
  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal skills at all levels
  • Ability to run forums with senior management membership/participation
  • Ability to manage cross functional projects which involve multiple and diverse areas
