About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Project Lead to join our team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of learning solutions that align with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and manage budgets to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teams to align expectations and ensure project success.
  • Stakeholder Management: Address concerns and meet stakeholder needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Financial Management: Track and manage budgets, identify cost savings, and ensure financial compliance.
Requirements
  • Project Management Experience: Hands-on experience in delivering small to medium-sized projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in project management tools like MS Project and Jira.
  • Methodology Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • L&D Experience: Experience in L&D projects.
  • Event Management: Experience in event and vendor management.
  • Project Management Certification: Certified in Project Management (AIPM or PMI).
