About us**- Laverty Pathology is part of Healius' Pathology division, one of Australia's leading providers of private medical laboratory and pathology services. We operate about 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. Each year, we provide one in every three pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia's largest and most complex private and public hospitals to small and remote Australian Aboriginal communities.
About the role
- The Collections Lead is responsible for the management of a designated area of ACC (Accredited Collection Centre) sites and includes the leadership of a team of pathology collectors, and coordination of daytoday operations, to ensure the delivery of a high standard of clinical and customer service. The Collections Lead will provide leadership, support and ongoing training to their collections team, to ensure that the right people are placed in the right roles and supported to fulfill these roles. This role will ensure that designated (ACC) sites meet all People & Culture, Workplace Health & Safety requirements, and relevant accreditation standards.

Qualifications/Licences:
- Essential (to be obtained)
- Certificate 3 in Pathology Collection (including AS430
- Drugs of Abuse collections)

- Sound knowledge of the pathology industry

- 3 + years' experience as a Pathology Collector
- Proven ability to lead a team
