Job Description:
Contribute to the delivery of a significant project within the landmark Suburban Parks Program.

Working in a dedicated and supportive team, the Project Officer Parkland Planning plays a key role in supporting the delivery of parkland planning as part of the Suburban Parks Program.

Reporting to the Team Lead Parkland Planning, the ideal candidate for this role:

Can prepare and present advice to internal and external stakeholders with minimal supervision.

Brings a proactive and positive approach in engaging a broad range of stakeholders with a focus on fostering a partnership approach to parkland planning.

Provides specialist administrative, governance and corporate support to Parkland Planning and broader Suburban Parks Program.
Brings an open and delivery focused attitude to their work.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications:
A tertiary qualification or relevant experience in land management, environmental or community planning or similar is desirable.
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 24 months.
The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
