**Location**: Penrith NSW

**About the Role**

Finance Officer will be responsible for supporting finance and business
- related operational systems within the Finance team to maintain accurate and up to date records and guide continuous improvement to meet stakeholder needs and business objectives. Provide accounting support services and liaison with the Agency's external transactional services provider.

**About you**

To be successful in the role you will have:

- Relevant industry experience and qualifications in the accounting/finance field
- Provide financial support to the Finance Team including the tracking, approvals, and payment of supplier invoices in SAP.
- Manage onboarding of Vendors and Customers Creation, and Maintenance requests.
- Raise and vary Purchase Orders according to new contracts and variations approved by management. Follow up and resolve Purchase Order approvals and queries from SAP approvers.
- Assist with month-end close and related processes including preparation of accruals and general journals. Assist with stocktake activities and audit requirements as and when required.
- Monitor and resolve all overdue supplier and debtor accounts to ensure payment within timeframes.
- Assist with financial statement preparation, reporting and monitoring of financial activities.
- Provide input into the development, implementation, and maintenance of procedures for continuous improvement of service operations.
- Assist in the management of the operational relationship with GovConnect in respect of finance and accounting service delivery issues.
- Assist and participate in special projects undertaken by the Finance Unit.
