Our Business Strategic Planning & Coordination (BSP&C) team is currently seeking to appoint a **Principal Asset Manager** to lead the development of the Asset Management (AM) function incorporating plans to optimise the delivery and performance of physical assets and supporting software. These range from land, buildings and lots, civic spaces, and technological equipment through to office fit out and IT systems, and potentially include utilities, such as Building/lot electrical services, EV charges and district cooling.

***About You**

To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business) and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
- Demonstrated experience in leading strategic asset management and developing strategies and plans related to land, buildings, utilities and technological equipment selection, management and maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in working constructively with people and resources across organisational business areas and with stakeholder resources to develop high profile projects and programs.
- Breadth of knowledge and networks in Government asset management for the purposes of advancing collaboration and outcomes in the Western Parkland City.
- Demonstrated strategic and lateral thinking, agile problem-solving skills, and communication skills, and a strong interest in advancing the coordination of asset management to deliver optimal outcomes for the Western Parkland City.

This role will support the Western Parkland City Authority (WPCA), which is part of the DPE Network. WPCA is responsible for coordination, delivery and investment attraction across the Western Parkland City, in collaboration with State and Commonwealth government agencies and with local councils. The WPCA also has primary responsibility for the establishment of the Bradfield City Centre adjacent to the new Western Sydney International Airport and the Sydney Metro Western Sydney Airport line.

**About the team**

The BSP&C team provides the WPCA with high-quality business planning, corporate reporting and infrastructure investor assurance services, plays a leading role in implementing asset management strategy, governance and risk management, and leads the set-up of subsidiary entities and new supporting functions.
