About the role:


We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to provide specialist support to the centralised procurement and contract management function of the business.

This role will be responsible for liaising with the business areas to develop contract and tender documentation, coordinate the end-to-end contract and tender process and manage contract compliance.

This role is also responsible for providing advice, guidance and direction on procurement, contract management compliance and other matters.

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:

  • Managing the end-to-end tender and contract review process, within delegative authority.
  • Developing and managing contracts in line with applicable Acts, Regulation, Standards and requirements.
  • Liaising with business areas and contractors to ensure contract developments, renewals, variations and extensions are processed in a timely fashion and in accordance with organisational standards.
  • Maintaining complete and accurate contract records and registers for the organisation.
  • Contributing to the development of procurement policies, standards, process improvements and guidelines.
  • Preparing management reports to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Monitoring contract performance and milestones.
  • Providing specialist advice and support to business areas in the formation, management and review of all commercial agreements and Grants.
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract administration and contract management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A proactive professional, with strong interpersonal skills and a customerfocused approach, who is able to work with a broad range of people from varying backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a team environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • An understanding of and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Advanced Computer Skills "Microsoft Office".
  • Current National Police Clearance.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Mandatory proof of vaccinations relevant to the position (Influenza/etc).
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Industry desirable.
