The key responsibilities of a Finance Officer are:

  • Accounts receivable processing
  • Debtor management
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliation
  • Purchase card transaction processing
  • Proactive
  • Shows initiative
  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Has a qualification in accounting and/or has local government experience (desirable, but not essential)
