About this position
The City is seeking a person to develop and implement bushfire mitigation plans.
To be successful in the role you will have experience and training to fulfil the role of a Fire Control Officer, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of bushfire risk assessment, mitigation and treatment methods.
What we are looking for
To be successful you must have:
- Appropriate experience and training to fulfil the functions of a Fire Control Officer.
- Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy, and demonstrated experience in the use of GIS based systems.
Essential requirements
- Current Police Clearance (less than three months old)
- Current WA "C" Class unrestricted Drivers Licence
