About this position
The City is seeking a person to develop and implement bushfire mitigation plans.


To be successful in the role you will have experience and training to fulfil the role of a Fire Control Officer, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of bushfire risk assessment, mitigation and treatment methods.

The position also assists the Emergency Operations Officer in regard to emergency management activities.

What we are looking for

To be successful you must have:

  • Appropriate experience and training to fulfil the functions of a Fire Control Officer.
  • Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy, and demonstrated experience in the use of GIS based systems.

Essential requirements

  • Current Police Clearance (less than three months old)
  • Current WA "C" Class unrestricted Drivers Licence
