Job Duties
Reporting into the Payroll Director, the role will involve taking leadership of the Payroll team with key tasks involving:

  • Developing, mentoring and leading a medium sized payroll team
  • Overseeing the end to end payroll processing and systems teams
  • Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiency
  • Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
  • Preparation of monthly payroll journals
  • Provide ongoing training
  • Ensure relevant awards and legislation are interpreted
The successful applicant will have proven leadership experience in a similar Payroll Manager position along with the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience leading and managing teams in a payroll environment ideally in a healthcare environment
  • Experience utilising either SAP, SuccessFactors and/ or Kronos will be viewed favourably
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
  • Experience working in a medium to large organisation
  • Proven process improvement initiatives
