Payroll Manager

Australian Venue Co. is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our central team in Melbourne. As a key member of our HR Leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll function in our steadily growing company of over 8000 employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the payroll team of 6 and support their professional and personal development.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll procedures, processing, and month-end and EOFY processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and awards in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures.
  • Verify timekeeping information for all employees.
  • Proactively approach operational training development and delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in full-function payroll management across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Established experience working within a large-sized organization with proven ability in leading a team.
  • Experience with Meridian MicrOpay software and Human Force (T&A) advantageous.
  • Proficient in using Excel, SharePoint, and other Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a cohesive team environment.
