Are you passionate about driving business growth through technical expertise? We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Business Development Manager who wants to make a difference and would like to join a rapidly growing business.

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial part in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.

As we continue to expand post-merger with Convergint, you'll have access to a robust client base and cutting-edge solutions to propel your success. You will join a premier global partner for security, audio, video, and unified communication solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Sales & Solutions, you will closely collaborate with Sales, Consulting, Design, and Support Services teams to ensure a complete end-to-end sales service is provided from strategy development, and account mapping to closing each deal.

What you will do

Strategic Growth: Drive new business initiatives by leveraging our established client base and focusing on direct client engagement. Your expertise in AV technology will be crucial in identifying, prospecting, and closing new opportunities.

Collaborative Approach: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Consulting, Design, and Support Services to deliver end-to-end solutions. From strategy development to closing deals, you'll play a pivotal role in our success.

Market Insight: Conduct thorough competitor and market analysis to identify key opportunities and drive the adoption of POMT solutions. Your insights will shape our Go-To-Market strategy across various verticals.

Relationship Building: Build strong, lasting relationships with customers by providing consultative sales expertise. Your ability to understand client needs and tailor solutions will be instrumental in driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Technical Expertise: Utilise your deep technical understanding of AV and Workplace Technology to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. From account mapping to presenting solutions, your knowledge will be invaluable.

What you will have

Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in executing sales strategies and driving business growth, particularly in audio-visual and workplace technology.

Technical Proficiency: MUST HAVE a strong understanding of audio-visual technology, enabling you to effectively engage with clients and propose tailored solutions.

Relationship Building Skills: Ability to quickly build rapport, foster long-term relationships, and collaborate with diverse teams and customers.

Autonomous Drive: Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, capable of taking ownership of deals from inception to closure.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.

Experience: 5+ years in a similar role, with direct field experience in corporate and enterprise customer environments.
