The Field Technical Specialist role

The Field Technical Specialist role is an excellent opportunity based in Victoria to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management team. This role is responsible for providing technical expertise at implant/follow up and troubleshooting. As well as supporting Territory Managers and clinicians at Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) clinics.

Main responsibilities
  1. Attend field visits to observe device implants and checks with colleagues.
  2. Support implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators, and CRT devices at the direction of your Manager.
  3. Conduct and provide technical support and advice at post-op follow-ups and clinics.
  4. Develop a clear understanding of sales force effectiveness (SFE) imperatives by undertaking sales skills training and engaging with territory managers to better understand the key objectives designed to drive business growth.
  5. Develop relationships with, and service key customer groups.
  6. Conduct education/training for hospital staff.
  7. Identify customer needs and communicate these to the appropriate Territory Manager.
  8. Maintain and update product knowledge, including actively participating in internal and external training sessions.
Minimum Experience/Qualifications required

Tertiary qualifications in Biomedical, Engineering, Medical Science, Human Movement, or related field (Coronary Care Nursing/Cardiac Technician) essential.

Expert communication skills and customer service skills.

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
