About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Applications Specialist to join our Service & Support Community at Roche Diagnostics Australia. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional technical support to internal and external customers, leveraging your Core Laboratory experience to drive customer success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive field and telephone technical support to the Roche Diagnostics Australia customer base
  • Participate in on-going training, technical performance, application/instrument troubleshooting, instrument installation and commissioning, and other post-sales support services
  • Ensure timely training, installation, and commissioning of new and refurbished Roche Diagnostics analytical systems
  • Support the success of the entire Service & Support Community, thinking and operating at a higher level
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications / diploma in Science / Laboratory Science
  • Extensive market knowledge with 3+ years' experience in Core Laboratory Diagnostics and Clinical Chemistry
  • Ability to diagnose applications and operational issues on analytical systems and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Experience in handling Roche Automated Analytical Systems, including Clinical Chemistry Systems, Immunodiagnostic systems, Hematology Systems, and Integration systems
  • Outstanding communication, sales, and cooperation skills
  • Entrepreneurial flair, curiosity, resilience, and tenacity
  • Ability to influence both internally and externally, and not be afraid to respectfully challenge the status quo
  • High computer literacy and technical ability
