Transmin is a world-class provider of innovative engineered equipment, and aftermarket parts and services to the mining resources and bulk material handling industries, throughout Australia and Internationally.


As an official Australian distributor of Berco undercarriage, Transmin has seen recent growth in their aftermarket department and are seeking a high-level communicator who is self-motivated with excellent negotiation abilities and a proven track record in sales of parts and supplies to join their business.


About the Role

  • Develop and maintain call cycles for current and target customers
  • Sales of Berco undercarriage products in order to achieve and exceed established sales and gross profitability targets
  • Prepare quotes and tenders for Berco products
  • Provide timely and accurate sales performance and activity reporting to management
  • Develop, implement and execute effective sales plans that are aligned to Transmin Aftermarket strategic objectives
  • Sales pipeline management and reporting with CRM
  • Assist in defining sales growth strategies, develop effective sales plans that are aligned to Aftermarket objectives in order to achieve product, team and individual targets
  • Identify opportunities for cross/up selling of other Transmin equipment and/or services and work with other Transmin sales and technical personnel to secure/close

About You

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively source, secure and close opportunities for sale of Berco products
  • Experience in developing and maintaining productive client relationships at all levels
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Sound understanding of the West Australian mining, quarry and earthmoving industries, and the broader Australian market
  • Previous experience in a sales and/or service role within a similar OEM and/or industry
  • Excellent general IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Current unrestricted drivers licence minimum C Class
  • Adept at working within an enterprise level ERP, notably MS Dynamics NAV
