About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trade qualified Fitter or Machinist or equivalent from a similar Trade background to join our team as a Service Sales Representative in WA.

As a Service Sales Representative, you will be responsible for researching and developing new customers who can benefit from our products or services, maximizing client potential in designated regions, and meeting service targets and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and develop new customers who can benefit from our products or services
  • Meet service targets and budgets by developing realistic annual budgets in consultation with the Service & Branch Managers
  • Prepare service contract proposals to identified clients
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Persuade customers that our products or services best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and company needs
  • Produce customer quotations and follow up on ongoing and upcoming work
  • Provide technical and other assistance to service clients
  • Prepare necessary reports for management and customers
  • Meet regular service sales targets and coordinate service projects
  • Provide training and produce support material for other members of the service team
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how our products meet customer needs
  • Liaise with other members of the service team and other technical experts
Requirements
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
  • Fitter and Machinist Trade Certificate or equivalent from a similar trade background
  • Selling and sales skills
  • Experience in hydraulic service
  • Customer-focused
  • Proficient PC skills
  • Can-do attitude, energetic, action-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Hands-on approach
