Role Overview

Your mission? To identify, develop, plan and execute activities that achieve the growth objectives of the States and Territories in target markets and segments.

This will be achieved by developing and maintaining state and territory relationships and partnerships with key referral sources and organisations that enable the referral of NDIS participants.

The role is responsible for delivering outcomes in line with our growth strategy.

This role will suit someone from a human service delivery background who is highly motivated, engaging and able to quickly grasp and respond to business needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Development: develop new client pipelines by building strong relationships with sources of referral which may include Support Coordinators, local community groups, NDIS, State Government, peak bodies, health organisations and advocacy groups.
  • Relationships: Build and foster strategic partnerships and relationships, leveraging your expertise to identify and deliver solutions to stakeholders, with a view to increase services provided by Possability.
  • Projects: Manage required projects from planning through to delivery, working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders including service development, operations and strategic marketing/communications resources.
  • Communication: Foster positive relationships with referral sources, new clients and their families, ensuring that receive the best advice to match the services we offer. Communication of the vision and purpose of the organization to support the development and implementation of new services.
  • Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Champion our Code of Conduct, adhere to WHS policies, and contribute to making Possability a haven for all staff.

Essential Skills/Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Formal Degree qualification (or higher) in marketing, business or relevant human services specialty or experience deemed to be the equivalent.
  • Experience in developing new and existing business opportunities in the human services sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, growing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships which provide new or increased business opportunity.
  • Sounds marketing, corporate and financial understanding, including the ability to read and interpret contracts and other corporate documentation.
  • NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and unrestricted driver's license.
  • Minimum of 3 Covid vaccinations.

Capabilities:

  • Appreciation of the necessity to exercise initiative and/or judgement within clearly established procedures and/or guidelines to find positive solutions in response to identified needs.
  • The ability to build relationships and influence to drive and support sustainable change.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively mentoring and supporting teams
