The Role:

Join our dynamic team as a Data Analyst, where you will play a crucial role in handling data requests, producing exception reports, and maintaining dashboards for our expanding Product division. Your primary focus will be on ensuring adherence to regulations, conducting impact analyses, extracting vital data, and addressing any other ad hoc requests that may arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently managing and manipulating extensive and intricate datasets.
  • Performing impact analyses on various compliance matters.
  • Developing, implementing, and enforcing exception reports.
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive fulfillment of data needs.
  • Thoroughly understanding data sources, their limitations, and typical applications within the team.
  • Regularly monitoring and reporting on the progress of corrective actions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and precision.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in data analysis, including:
    • Managing large datasets from different sources and platforms.
    • Swift and efficient data manipulation.
    • Working with both structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Previous experience in the General Insurance sector is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SQL coding.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerBI, or quick to grasp new tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a plus, although not mandatory.
  • College degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, data science, or related fields, with a preference for advanced degrees.
