The Role:
The Pricing Analyst will support the Pricing team and company on insurance pricing decisions through robust, accurate and timely data-driven analysis.
Accountabilities:
- Understanding sources of data, its limitations and common uses within the team.
- Managing and manipulating extensive data sets.
- Conducting technical analysis as directed, including building predictive models.
- Drawing insights and providing recommendations on next steps.
- Explaining work and communicating findings to senior management.
- Performing regular reporting. Implementing, testing, and monitoring pricing changes.
Knowledge and Experience:
- General Insurance Pricing experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Programming knowledge (e.g. SQL, SAS, R, GCP).
- Degree qualified in mathematics, actuarial studies or similar. Progressing through actuarial examinations viewed favourably.
