You will be working closely with the Manager Governance andCouncillor Support to provide support to Councillors and handleFreedom of Information matters.

You are a team orientated person with well-developedadministration skills, and proficiency in general softwareprograms, including the Microsoft Office suite of products. Thisrole enables you to apply your strong analytical skills,exceptional attention to detail and knowledge of basic legalmatters on a daily basis. In addition to your experience, it willbe highly regarded if you possess a Certificate IV in LegalServices (or similar).

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • High level interpersonal and public relations skills
  • Developed computer literacy with knowledge oflivestreaming, Zoom and MS Teams
  • Understanding of the legislative framework governingFreedom of Information
  • Sound research and analytical skills

We are offering a gross salary from $74,999 to$80,074, depending on skills and experience, and:

  • 11% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to afurther 5%
  • A variety of health and wellbeing programs including aphysical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 perannum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mentalhealth programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP)services
