Provide analysis, advice and support to the Faculty of Health Executive at Charles Darwin University (CDU)

About the Position
As an Executive Officer, you will make a key contribution to the effective development of Faculty services, programs, and new initiatives. Reporting directly to the Pro-Vice Chancellor Faculty of Health you will provide analysis, advice, and support to the Faculty Executive and will research and produce business cases, project reports and consultation documents to enhance the portfolio and success of the Faculty. You will interact with key stakeholders both internally and externally, requiring professional engagement and relationship management and will also provide high-level coordination and support of Faculty projects and initiatives.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Completion of postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualification and extensive relevant experience OR equivalent extensive experience within an academic/pedagogical environment.
  • Proven strategic thinking skills with well-developed knowledge and understanding of business needs and demonstrated ability to research, assess, interpret, and amalgamate informed to provide expert recommendations and reporting.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands without compromising standards of service or quality.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work in a challenging environment with problem-solving skills to achieve specific outcomes, initiative, discretion, and judgement.
  • Proven ability in business case development through strong and coherent communication skills orally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to provide financial input into the development of business cases.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional level 8 salary. The base salary will be in the range of $102,831 to $116,253 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $120,312 to $136,016 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
