Salary Range: $84,931 to $90,518 per year, plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks of annual leave

Location: Casuarina Campus

Support Charles Darwin University (CDU) in enhancing risk management and assurance activities.

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Risk and Assurance and the Governance team to enhance risk management and assurance practices at CDU.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for better governance.
  • Create concise risk and assurance reports for University Committees.
  • Engage with faculties and business units to implement the enterprise risk plan.
  • Maintain and monitor Governance Waterhole content and SharePoint site.
  • Develop positive relationships with internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or assurance services.
  • Strong understanding of risk management processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to apply legislation and policy to ensure compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle tasks efficiently.
