Situated beneath the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, our five-star hotel features 189 exquisite rooms and suites, providing guests with a truly luxurious stay on the lively heritage waterfront pier.

Pier One Sydney Harbour is more than just a workplace: it's a platform where you can demonstrate your skills and significantly enhance our guests' experiences.

Handle all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and activating room keys. Manage various payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process check-outs, including resolving any late fees or disputes. Address, log, and manage all guest communications, requests, inquiries, or issues. Collaborate with Housekeeping to monitor room readiness for arrivals. Inform guests/visitors of parking procedures and assist with bell or valet services as necessary. Provide guests with directions and details about the property and local attractions. Generate daily reports on arrivals and departures, address special requests, and verify report accuracy. Conclude assigned cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Cash personal and traveler's checks from guests. Count the bank at the start and end of your shift. Reconcile and submit receipts according to Accounting guidelines.

  • Assist guests during check-in and check-out procedures at the hotel.
  • Handle general inquiries, delivering exceptional service throughout each guest interaction.
  • Cultivate and reinforce relationships with both current and new clients to facilitate future bookings.
  • Support your dynamic, friendly, and welcoming office team with general operational duties.
  • Manage guest reservations and fulfill cash handling & credit card responsibilities.
  • Fueled by our passion for the local area, become an expert on the hotel and its surroundings, ensuring guests' expectations are exceeded.

What We Value for This Role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with OPERA property management system or similar software.
  • Valid full working rights in Australia.
  • Current NSW RSA certification is mandatory.
