The Role:

Are you ready to take on a unique opportunity as a Senior Manager, Technical Services at Baxter Healthcare Corporation? This is an outstanding opportunity to showcase your exceptional technical expertise and leadership skills in a dynamic and fast-paced commercial environment.

As the Senior Manager, Technical Services, you will have the chance to manage the integrated Technical Service organization supporting Australia, New Zealand, and Japan for all Baxter segments. You will play a crucial role in ensuring flawless service delivery, optimizing device performance, and enabling productivity gains in a cost-conscious environment. Your proven ability to challenge and efficiently implement service strategies will make a significant impact in achieving our organization goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the field service organization and repair centers, ensuring compliance with service requirements, contractual agreements, and company quality standards Lead and manage business operations for Technical Service across various product service lines, implementing marketing and commercial strategies Manage the clusters P/L in compliance with the assigned budget and forecast, ensuring appropriate planning, reporting, and risk mitigation Coordinate strategy and actions with local commercial teams to develop a cross and profitable business as a partner to the business units Ensure coordination of prices for spare parts and service offerings within the region Enhance the value of spare part inventory and increase turnover. Improve customer service level and TS efficiency through monitoring of service demand and improvement of planning processes Ensure control of service providers, service distributors, and self-service customers Support and promote EHS compliance and required certifications Carry out Field Actions and product upgrades according to assigned timelines.

Requirements of the role include:

Tertiary qualification in Science/Engineering/Business or related fields Proven experience working in a multinational organization, preferably in the Medical Devices/Capital industry Previous experience in leading service organizations/enterprises, technical service to electromechanical medical devices is a plus Proven Finance knowledge (P/L, budget, cost controls) Strong ability to understand commercial requirements, market trends, financial data, and customer needs Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude A change agent focusing on continuous process improvement and quality/compliance.
