About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional learning coordinator to join our Professional Learning Team.

This team is an integral part of the Child Youth & Family (CYF) Centre for Practice Excellence you will provide expertise and coordination support to enable the successful delivery of a variety of learning solutions to develop the capability of our workforce.


As a member of the CYF Centre for Practice Excellence, you will be responsible for scheduling/co-ordinating learning solutions and evaluation, maintaining training records and providing high level progress reports, communications and event management and be a key point for contact, while ensuring a positive employee experience.

This is a permanent full-time position, location flexible anywhere in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate a wide range of learning solutions and evaluation
  • Actively contribute to and support the implementation of professional learning projects and initiatives
  • Manage and coordinate the professional learning calendar of events/opportunities and other activities across a range of platforms (including face to face, virtual & eLearning)
  • Share learning advice and answer stakeholder queries with excellent customer service
  • Conduct initial learning needs analyses to understand what next steps may be needed to address any learning gaps
  • Build & maintain sector knowledge in program supported and best practice learning approaches and methodology
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement & proactively provide input into internal process design
  • Report on key learning metrics and performance measures
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Accurately record all event and learning information into LMS system, acting as the key contact for any data enquiries for the team & manage the Professional Learning inbox.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated learning scheduling/coordination experience, or significant administration experience with a passion for learning
  • Demonstrated experience working individually and as a team to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting and data analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination and event management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with presentation ability
  • Proven collaborative problemsolving skills, and ability to think laterally and strategically
  • Comprehensive ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including advanced skills in word, excel, teams and PowerPoint.
