***- Receive, unload, and process deliveries and account for incoming goods based on invoice and purchase order.

  • Ensure all deliveries to loading dock arrive with either an invoice or delivery docket with official purchase order number to ensure compliant 3way match of goods, invoice and purchase order as dictated by Marriott Policy.
  • Mark the received goods appropriately and deliver to appropriate department.
  • Ensure all goods received arrive on time and in ensure highest quality of all incoming goods. Follow up with suppliers should incoming goods not meet specification and quality criterion.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies between goods ordered, invoices and actual received. Troubleshoot supplier delivery issues and oversee return process.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, checking temperatures on meat and fish products and any products as appropriate.
  • Ensure orders in Birch Street are sent daily for delivery by requested delivery date.
  • Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports in Birch Street.
  • Notify departmental Talent Coach of low stock levels in a timely manner.
  • Issue correct Beverages REQ to departments as requested.
  • Liaise with other departments on their needs ensuring all communications are understood.
  • Communicate with proper management regarding any loss or damage with packages.
  • Maintain confidential nature of information regarding contracts and procedures.
  • In the absence of the Purchasing Manager, run the purchasing/receiving department to ensure service levels are maintained.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
