The role of the
Operations Manager is to provide management & leadership across multiple sites and program areas. The position ensures Community Participation and Community Based Day Support framework is a vehicle for individuals to explore and engage in meaningful and purposeful activities, based on individual goals, preferences and needs

Some key accountabilities of the
Operations Manager include:


  • providing effective leadership & support to site coordinators
- recruitment & induction of new team members
- coaching, mentoring & developing individual goals with staff
- identifying & tracking individual & team training needs and working to support DSPs achieve their developmental goals
- fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration
- promoting reward & recognition

This is a full-time, ongoing position based in Frankston

About You:

  • You will need the following:_
  • Tertiary qualification in disability or a related field, or a minimum of Certificate IV in Disability with substantial experience in the field
  • Significant experience in designing, delivering and evaluating outdoor recreation or communitybased programs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the demonstrated ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience managing and motivating a team, preferably in a multisite environment
  • Experience dealing with challenging behaviours and the ability to mentor staff in this area
  • Ability to selfmanage and work as part of a team, incorporating effective planning, time management and organisational skills to achieve quality outcomes
  • Selfmotivated and able to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • First Aid Level II
  • Current Driver's licence
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Current Working with Children Check
