The Position

The Training Coordinator is responsible for providing support across all Oasis and Vesta program training compliance requirements and occupational certifications, including functional area specific requirements, certifications, relevant tickets and licences.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and deliver program specific training, including designing training content, creating training schedules and implementing appropriate evaluation mechanisms
  • Develop and implement annual program training schedules, including associated documentation, forms, templates and policies
  • Schedule both internal and external training activities as required for the entirety of the process to include the initial request until the training is complete and documented.
  • Identify mandated training aligned to required certification and licensing for all program specific positions.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support training (filing, scanning, photocopying, scheduling, coordinating access for entry, PRs etc.)
  • Maintain employee training and certification records in the HRIS
  • Liaise with training providers developing strong relationships, conducting evaluations of training options and identifying preferred service providers.
  • Provide support and advice to employees and managers in relation to required training and certifications
  • Ensure, promote, and maintain health and safety practices/compliances at site and within the workplace.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate Degree or,
  • Equivalent demonstrated experience

Field: Training, Business Administration or related field.

  • Certificate IV – Human Resources
  • Certificate IV – Workplace Training and Assessment

TICKETS AND LICENCES

  • Drivers Licence

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 2 to 3 years – in a similar role performing employee learning and development duties or training management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS

  • The position is desk based and sedentary in nature, the ability to lift items up to 5kgs may be required occasionally.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance w/ Poly.

STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

All personnel assigned to work shall be:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to fluently read, write and speak English

EHS REQUIREMENT

All Amentum personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with all site environmental, health and safety requirements. While Amentum is responsible for providing a safe workplace and is responsible for ensuring compliance with requirements of the EHS Handbook, each person is responsible for:

  • Completing work tasks in a safe manner
  • Reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to their supervisor and/or PMO/EHS Manager

  • Red-Carding a Job - Employee right and responsibility to "STOP WORK" if a job is unsafe or possess a danger to the environment
