About the Role

The Research Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of research projects at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, including community and stakeholder consultation and engagement. This role collaborates closely with external research organisations, community stakeholders, and Congress Senior Research Manager and other Congress services, supervising a team and staff across multiple areas, with training responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement research projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and external research organisations
  • Supervise a team of research staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with Congress Senior Research Manager and other Congress services to ensure alignment with organisational goals
  • Develop and implement training programs for research staff
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in research or a related field
  • Experience in research coordination and project management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
