Where you'll be working

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing

Act as a channel of communication for all staff and external agents regarding matters of patient care; maintain and collate statistics and medical records, provide administrative support to the Parramatta Chest Clinic. Chest Clinic Administration Officers provide the facility and infrastructure support that allow caregivers to provide clinical care.

  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology and word processing Skills
  • Demonstrated computer literacy including Cerner and IPM, Microsoft
  • Demonstrated understanding of record maintenance, privacy and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, organise and prioritise work
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
  • Commitment to professional development
  • Experience in outpatient setting
