Raging Waters Sydney - Admissions Team Leader

About the role:


Admissions Team Leader is a guest facing role which ensures all guests entering Raging Waters Sydney enter with ease and provided with exceptional guest service through the participation and leadership of the Admissions Team Members.


This position assists in the arrival experience of guests and leads the team to deliver accurate information about park attractions and facilities.

The position is responsible for providing leadership to the team ensuring efficient processing season passes, ticket sales and the upselling of park products and services.


Roles & Responsibilities:


Being an ambassador for Raging Waters Sydney and enforcing all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and those of Palace Entertainment and Parques Reunidos.- Willingness to accept the most effective role while leading the team by example and with integrity.- Monitor and motivate team members to achieve a high standard of guest service within the Season Pass Centre, Ticketing, carpark ticketing & Front Gate Pods.- Welcome Guests in a friendly and professional manner and bid all guests leaving the park a fond farewell.- Engage with all guests and team as individuals and listen attentively to their requests.- Ensure all guests flow through the front entry as efficiently as possible to maintain the highest quality guest service throughout the admission process and recognize if areas need to be addressed and communicated to leadership.- Work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent guest service and to promote a positive working environment with a positive attitude.- Ensure correct fee is collected from all guests while maintaining the highest quality guest service and maximising revenue.- Ensure transactions are processed correctly, and passes are issued accordingly.- Ensure staff are following scheduled days by implementing regular rotations from positions as well as scheduling breaks to meet operational needs.- Complete all relevant paperwork to maintain correct record-keeping processes.- Report any issues that may affect admission operations immediately to Admissions Coordinator or the Director of Operations.- Demonstrate discretion and an ability to maintain confidentiality.- Conduct training and assess the competency of Team Members through audits to assist in team development & mentoring.- Demonstrate knowledge of current ticketing options available online and in park and distribute promotional flyers as required.- Ensure ticket booth and turnstile areas are re-stocked at the end of each shift, to prepare for the following day.- Assist with supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the coordinator to ensure operational efficiencies are adhered to.- Assist in other areas associated as required, including the upgrade booth and annual pass processing, to ensure these areas operate as efficiently as possible.- Assist in other areas of the operations department or retail department.- Required to be Admissions Team Member as required or directed.- Responsible for assisting with area cleanliness including sweeping, rubbish pick-up, emptying bins, maintaining birthday & cabana areas and work areas.- To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Admissions Coordinator, Director of Operations, or member of the Management Team.

  • Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment.
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.
  • Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.
  • Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.
