We are currently looking for a:
Raging Waters Sydney - Slide Attendant

About the role:


Slide Attendants at Raging Waters Sydney are to maintain exceptional guest service and professionalism whilst assisting the guests to ride the attractions safely.

APPLICANTS MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER FOR THIS POSITION.


Recommended applicants will need to attend a course on Friday 1 March 2024 or Saturday 2 March 2024 from 9am to 5pm.


Roles & Responsibilities:


Positive interactions with guests to ensure that they receive quality service.- Tactfully dealing with guests who do not meet ride restrictions.- Provide a safe and fun environment for guests.- Operate various attractions throughout the park in a safe manner.- To know and enforce all Raging Waters Sydney policies relating to service delivery.- Ensure all attractions areas, are always supervised and that all policies and procedures are being followed.- To adhere to Ellis & Associates Standards and Guidelines.- Recognize problems and make decisions to help resolve the problem.

Effectively communicate serious nature problems to the Head Guard or Operations Manager.- Administering CPR or other emergency care whenever required.- Report any faults that arise during the day.

Monitor the technical equipment for any machinery failure and maintenance required.- To assist in the opening and closing procedures and the clean and tidy presentation of the park.- Maintaining Park presentation standards to the highest level.- Assist with general cleaning of the park and grounds as seen to be necessary and as directed.- Assist with pressure washing duties outside of park operating hours as directed.- Responsible for assisting with over park cleanliness including sweeping, rubbish pick-up, clearing and cleaning tables, emptying rubbish bins, maintaining picnic areas, maintaining birthday & cabana areas, work areas and restrooms.- To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Aquatic Coordinator, Head Lifeguard, Operations Manager, Director of Operations, or member of the Management Team.


Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):

  • Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment.
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviors.
  • Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.
  • Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.
  • Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
  • Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct policy.
  • Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates.
  • Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work.
  • To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Direct Manager, General Manager, or any member of the Management Team.
  • Adhere to the Employee Handbook content and requirements.


Smoking in the workplace is allowed in designated smoking areas only, where permitted by the applicable legislation of the jurisdiction.

You are required to have a high level of physical fitness and stamina and be physically fit.

Physical requirements include but are not limited to walking, carrying, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling squatting, sitting, standing, twisting and repetitious movements.
