Our client has a long history of delivering global commercial excellence and driving sales within the Australasian market providing materials to the infrastructure, power, machinery construction and property sectors.


The Role:


This role brings a unique opportunity for you to work alongside the senior management team to maintain existing accounts and contribute to the continued success and growth of the organisation.

With a strategic mindset you will recognize where potential growth opportunities are within the construction, development and property sectors and plan the supply of materials to service these sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing client accounts, whilst also building new business
  • Provide a professional customer centric relationship with all stakeholders, nurturing ongoing rapport
  • Maintain market intelligence and proactively identify new opportunities
  • Liaising with external providers, clients, customers, government bodies and industry leaders
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities and planning and implementing new sales plans
  • Negotiating contract agreements preferred supplier agreements and delivery terms

To be successful in this role:

  • A proven career history in sales and business development
  • A desire to work within the construction, property and development sector as a materials supplier
  • Ability to prepare and execute marketing strategies
  • Experience in driving revenue, promoting sales and meeting targets
  • Good understanding of numbers and statistics
  • Experience selling in the B2B Commercial sector
  • Conduct ongoing target market and competitor analysis
  • Enthusiastic sales driven, selfmotivated team player
  • Ability to work autonomously in a selfdirected environment
  • Friendly, driven, approachable with a positive 'cando' attitude
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office particularly Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word

  • Passion for sales and marketing
  • Highly organised people person that thrives in a sales environment and enjoy meeting and dealing with decision makers and effectively negotiating positive sales outcomes.
