Account Manager

The Account Manager for Flight Centre Travel Group plays a pivotal role in fostering and growing our relationships with key accounts, including Flight Centre. This position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in account management, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key team members within our partner organisations.
- Conduct client meetings with a clear agenda and vision for the partnership's future.
- Create and manage a clear timeline for partnership growth and renegotiate agreements as necessary.
- Monitor account performance through key metrics and report regularly on progress against commercial targets.
- Collaborate with Flight Centre teams to develop joint marketing campaigns and promote products and services.
- Lead the contracting process, ensuring alignment with client goals and presenting proposals effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities and account information using best practices and systems such as Salesforce.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales and/or account management within the travel/hospitality industry.
- In-depth experience with the Asia market is preferred.
- Proven track record of account growth and customer retention.
- Outstanding sales skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to interact with diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage.
- Capable of working under pressure, managing multiple tasks, and working outside office hours if required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve collective results.
- Willingness to travel for business domestically and internationally.
