The opportunity


Mott MacDonald's Transport team is looking for a talented, collaborative and inclusive Transport Team Lead to join our growing Transport team in us in Sydney.


  • You will join a local team with a global presence and a reputation for excellence and innovation in the development and delivery of multiple disciplines and engineering projects. This role will be focused on continuing to drive our group client strategy, providing direction to our winning Transport team, as well as overseeing the growth and diversification of it's the Australian Transport business.
  • You will collaborate to ensure the effective delivery of transport related services, including Rail, Roads & Highways, Bridge, Tunnel, and Transport Planning:
  • Being accountable for sound project governance, including instigating formal reviews and risk management
  • Contribute towards the global success of the Transport Sector by building networks across the Mott MacDonald Group and supporting global projects as required.
  • Demonstrating and promoting positive and visible leadership and team collaboration that aligns with our PRIDE values and culture across the APNA region.
  • Managing performance and successful commercial delivery of projects, delivering innovation and technical excellence on projects.
  • Driving the Leading coordination of pursuits, winning work and enhancing market presence in line with the business strategy, and developing and maintaining key client relationships and acting as an Account Leader. Managing your State Sector Business Development and Proposal budgets, and working winning opportunity.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Degree in a relevant Engineering or related field
  • Experienced in Proactively developing client relationships to deliver transportrelated projects and workwinning opportunity.
  • Successfully managed the delivery of multidiscipline transport projects.
  • Mentored and guided staff to upskill and develop professionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate across all levels internally and externally.
