Splunk is currently going through an exciting phase of growth in Australia, experiencing significant momentum across its teams. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Account Manager to join the successful sales team in Brisbane. The role involves developing new business and expanding existing accounts in Queensland, Western Australia, and South Australia territories.

We are seeking a customer-focused and sales-oriented individual with a proven track record in generating outstanding sales results within a rapidly growing tech environment. The ideal candidate will excel in building and nurturing relationships with key channel partners to drive growth effectively.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts in Queensland, Western Australia, and South Australia to acquire new business and expand existing accounts with established partners in those regions.
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding revenue quotas for licenses, support, and services on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Collaborating with the Splunk team to maximize account penetration through strategic territory planning and opportunity management.
  • Reporting pipeline and forecasts accurately to your Manager and ANZ sales operations on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Negotiating pricing and business terms with commercial clients by emphasizing value and engaging with various Splunk product offerings.
  • Working closely with Splunk's sales engineering, professional services teams, and partner resources to position Splunk's solutions effectively in the market.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in software sales within a commercial market, with a talent for building relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high account load effectively.
  • Strong skills in designing, implementing, and measuring strategies for acquiring new accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in collaborating with channel partners to achieve growth targets.
  • Understanding the criticality of accurate forecasting and commitment tracking.
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in software sales related to IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, application development, security, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in navigating CRM systems, specifically SalesForce.
