Accounts Officer

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Officer at our client's site who specialise in the manufacturing of high-end, custom garage doors for luxury homes and commercial spaces.
Based in the north-east suburbs, this role will see you responsible for the day-to-day accounts functions utilising XERO software on a regular basis.
Other duties will include:
- Processing Payroll and Super
- Management of annual leave and sick leave
- Coordinating Insurance renewals
- Assisting coordinating adhoc legal duties including fines, minor claims
- Preparing BAS and send to the Accountant
- Crosschecking statements for payment
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Issuing employment contracts when needed
- Some minor admin duties (answering the phone when receptionist is on break, order material from suppliers etc )
About You:
To be successful in the role, you will have proven experience in a similar role as well as the following:
- Be proficient in XERO software and Intermediate at MS Excel
- Proficient in all facets of payroll, AR/AP and results focussed
- Proven effective organisational capability to manage work priorities and meet deadlines
- Be well presented and posses a high level of verbal communication skills
Your pay rate will be $35.00 per hour + super and your hours will be Mon-Fri; 9am - 4pm however there is a level of flexibility with this should you require hours a bit earlier / later to co-inside school pick-ups or out-of-work commitments.
