FOR-DE Group distributor of the Shoprider Mobility & REDGUM Brands is an established leader in Manufacturing / Wholesale distribution in the Mobility industry and is seeking a Accounts Officer to join the team.


The Accounts Officer role being offered is a part time position, ideally 15-20 hours per week, there is some flexibility in the hours available and the position would ideally suit someone returning to work force and needs the working hours to be during school hours.


This role provides a great opportunity to work within a very stable business that has been a leader in the mobility industry for nearly 30 years and a role that offers a range of responsibilities to make a difference within the business.


The role would include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining Debtor & Creditor processes
  • Daily banking reconciliation
  • Processing Accounts Payable invoices.
  • Processing and reconciling credit card transactions
  • Processing invoices and credit notes.
  • Daily completion of company Invoice verification
  • Processing of import shipments
  • The ability to work within agreed deadlines
  • Working directly with the General Manager
  • Adhoc duties to support the Warranty Manager in the performance of their roles
Previous work experience & knowledge of the following

  • Completion of Business Activity Statements
  • P&L Reporting
  • USD Account transaction process

Qualification / Skills / Experience Requirements
To be successful in this role applicants would need to have

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy for work undertaken.
  • Good all round book keeping skills with relevant qualification.
  • Experience in a recent role of this type would be preferred.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excel spreadsheet creation and control.
  • Previous account based software experience JIWA preferred but not essential.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • The ability to work within agreed deadlines

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (internal and external customers).
  • Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and have a strong desire to learn and initiative.
  • Ability to persuade and persevere without resulting in conflict.
