About the role
Hutchies is currently seeking proactive Work Health & Safety Professionals to join our Gold Coast team in a full-time capacity.
Along with the project team, this position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day health and safety requirements on their project as well as identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive the project's health and safety performance.

You will be a key member of our safety team, who along with the site team, will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are delivered in a safe manner.
Hutchies' work health and safety officers are highly regarded in our business, and they are actively involved in projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities include- Implementation and management of Hutchies' safety management system
- Ensuring the project safety management plan is effectively communicated and implemented
- Liaising with the project team members for subcontractor management including SWMS reviews
- Discuss, monitor, and assist the workforce in the safe delivery of onsite activities
- Providing onsite expertise and advise for all work health and safety matters
- Completing weekly safety audits and closing out actions
- Completing task observations
- Incident reporting and investigation
- Conducting sitespecific inductions
- Conducting toolbox meetings
- Participating in the daily prestart meeting
