About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned safety professional to join IEPro Recruitment's client, a leading civil contractor, as a HSE Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing the safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk-based safety strategies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide regular safety advice and direction to site staff, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage the safety system and associated reporting, including incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Design, manage, and implement risk-based strategies, including the development of task observation tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and promote a safe workplace culture.
- At least 5 years of industry experience as a safety professional in civil construction, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, subcontractors, and clients.
