What you'll do:


The Manager is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives and processes that maximise the utilisation of volunteers to ensure the highest quality of service.

They will ensure that volunteers feel engaged and connected as part of the ACH Group.

  • Embed a customer solution focussed environment.
  • Provide specialist volunteer management advice, direction and support to leaders and their teams.
  • Promote, represent, and raise the profile of ACH Group's Volunteer Program through collaboration with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership, support and advocacy for volunteers ensuring development of talent pipeline strategies and opportunities.
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, orientation, and corporate recognition of volunteers across ACH Group's programs and services.

About You


We are looking for someone that has experience leading and transforming volunteer programs, with a solid understanding of best practice and what it takes to be an organisation of choice for people who wish to volunteer their time.


You will need

  • Formal qualifications in human services, management or equivalent
  • Proven experience in the development, management, and implementation of volunteering programs within human service organisations
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills including competency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work well in a team
  • Impeccable attention to detail and high focus on accuracy

ACH Group is a not-for-profit organisation in the Health Care Sector.

This means that you can salary package up to $15,900 per annum for living expenses and $2,650 for meals/entertainment to reduce your tax.
