About the role:


The Council's Asset Management Spatial Information Officer will provide quality services in relation to the operation, maintenance and development of Council's Asset Management System (Assetic/Brightly), with a focus on the GIS component.

Reporting to the Asset Management Coordinator, this role will be responsible for provision of specialist GIS advice and support and will be part of the team management responsible for quality asset database, the production of financial data associated with assets and the development of infrastructure capital works programs.

Skills and experience require to perform the role:

  • Considerable experience in Asset Management and GIS within a large/complex organisation
  • Exposure to and knowledge of ArcGIS and Assetic/Brightly would be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualification in Asset Management and/or GIS is desirable
  • The ability to review processes and procedures applied to improve service delivery
  • Welldeveloped oral and written communication skills
