About the role:

Merri-bek City Council has an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Officer to join our Finance team.

Our revenue services team looks after 86,000 rateable assessments, we are currently looking for someone who will enjoy learning and working in a fast paced, customer service focused environment.


Skills and experience require to perform the role:

  • Work experience in an entry level rates, revenue or customer services role is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication including phone and written communication skills and problemsolving skills.
  • A strong commitment to customer service, including the ability to manager difficult customers.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • A good level of skill with computer operating systems.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
