Business Development Coordinator & Research Executive - Global & Corporate


A core Client Segment within Aon Australia, Global & Corporate specialising in the provision of exceptional Insurance and Risk Management Services to a broad portfolio of privately owned, publicly listed and government organisations including a number of ASX-listed companies and major multinationals.


In this role, you will research prospects, develop strategies and coordinate a range of business development activities in support our segment's growth strategy for larger, high-end new business targets, across a range of client industries.

What the day will look like

  • Prepare thorough briefing documents on each target client
  • Create and maintain a heat map of business development activity
  • Ensure that data quality is maintained to the highest standard
  • Preparation of internal communications, presentations, meeting agendas and planning materials for strategy development workshops
  • Ensure all external documentation is prepared to a consistently high standard in line with Aon's brand guidelines
  • Develop process efficiencies and a library of BD materials that will further enable this new business strategy
  • Foster collaboration with our stakeholders in Bid Management to ensure conversion of leads to open opportunities runs smoothly,
  • Perform a counterparty analysis of tender consultant firms and/or Aon's direct competition across each state
  • Stay across important developments within the Aon business both locally and globally
  • Work with BDMs in each state to monitor and plan for prospect outreach activities
  • Develop a joint strategy that supports growth targets in key client industries including but not limited to the creation and maintenance of industryspecific value propositions, response templates and an agreed process for qualifying and supporting opportunities in each sector.
