The Opportunity


Take the next step in your career with a rewarding
Business Partner, People and Culture role on a
temporary full-time basis until December 2023, with the possibility of an extension.

Location is negotiable across 130+ TAFE NSW campuses (pending availability).

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the business to manage the impact of transformational change, manage and resolve workforce and employee related issues, and enhance the capability of business managers through coaching and guidance.


We are also seeking to building an eligibility list, valid for 18 months, which may be used to fill future temporary or permanent roles in the same classification.


About You


Through your impeccable communication skills and analytical approach, you will provide specialist advice and support to hiring managers and staff in relation to a wide range of workforce matters.

Ideally you are adept to working in a large, complex organisation and have exposure to case management and/or complaints management.

You enjoy building trusting relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, collaborating with your team, and taking initiative.

Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.

You will have:

  • Degree qualification in related field or equivalent industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the engagement of multiple stakeholders in a diverse, complex environment.
  • Successful history of building relationships and influencing key stakeholders
  • Sound knowledge of HR related legislative and regulatory requirements and/or experience in a people leadership capacity
