Why Your Role Matters:


The Program Administrator, Learning Abroad plays a key role in the Learning Abroad Team within the Experience Pillar of the Pro Vice-Chancellor Education & Student Experience Portfolio in providing effective day-to-day program administration for the UNSW Exchange program team, students, and key stakeholders and broader Learning Abroad programs.


This is a dynamic student facing administrative position expected to demonstrate skills, knowledge, independence and interpersonal skills to effectively and efficiently support UNSW Learning Abroad programs.

The successful applicant will provide program administrative support, including liaising with students, student enrolment activities, alignment with policy and procedure, contribution to the delivery of key programs and projects.

These activities will contribute to the advancement of Learning Abroad students and the enhancement of the broader UNSW student experience.


Who You Are:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience providing effective program administrative and/or student support in a tertiary education environment utilising relevant systems.
  • Advanced time management and organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure, establish priorities and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Highly advanced interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
  • Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels. Experience providing/working in student support an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexibly, productively, and effectively as part of a team while operating autonomously and demonstrating strong initiative and a proactive approach to driving process improvements.
