Position Summary:


UNSW Business School is a leader in business education and research in the Asian region and one of the largest Business Schools in Australia with more than 16,500 students, 500 academic and professional staff and more than 80,000 alumni and partners.

The Business School offers a full suite of business degree programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, coursework and research levels, including the AGSM MBA programs and a range of Executive Programs.

The Programs Administrator provides effective day-to-day administrative support for major programs within the UNSW Business School.

The role reports to the Operations and Learning Support Manager in the Career Accelerator and Student Engagement team and has no direct reports.


Accountabilities:

  • Provide high level administrative support for major programs within the UNSW Business School.
  • Collate, tidy and format data from a wide range of platforms and systems, ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Maintain program specific platforms, including uploading of data, reporting and updating of content.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders for all program related enquiries, maintaining effective channels of communication, analysing requests and correspondence to prioritise as well as urgent matters.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across UNSW on relevant programs, activities, events and initiatives available to students and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a wider team on the support for program delivery and platform maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed filing systems, spreadsheets, databases and other administrative systems.

Skills and Experience:

To be considered you will hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Highly proficient computer literacy and experience working with a wide range of digital platforms and systems.
  • Advanced time management, organisational and problemsolving skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make sound judgements and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
