Reporting to the Manager - Life and Established Claims Management, the Lead - Life & Trauma and Established Claims Management is a newly created role.
- Monitoring and managing daily workflow management for individuals and team
- Accuracy and timeliness of assessments
- Providing technical expertise for complex matters
- Providing coaching and training for the team and individuals
- Leading the team to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Managing individual and team performance informal and formal
- Ensuring core regulatory risk and obligations are adhered to
- Dealing with escalations and complaints
- Ensuring data integrity and quality
- Ensuring the team take a fair and reasonable approach to decision making in all circumstances
- Ensuring all Claims service and business metrics are monitored, met or exceeded
About You
You are an experienced People Manager with the ability to demonstrate customer-service orientation.
You bring 5+ years Life Insurance Claims experience, including knowledge of legislation and regulations affecting the life insurance industry.
Ideally, you have obtained tertiary qualifications:
(Desirable but not essential)
Australian Insurance Institute (desirable)
