**The Role**
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Claims Operations, the Manager - Claims Operations is a newly created role. You will be responsible for managing and Leading the Claims Administration and Customer Care teams to deliver exceptional services to our Group and Retail customers through:
- Accuracy and quality of administration task and services provided
- Delivering exceptional customer experience at all times
- Ensuring all Claims Administration and Customer Care service standards are met or exceeded
- Motivating and driving high performance culture across all teams
- Creating a continuous improvement environment for ongoing review of systems and processes to drive greater efficiency
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships across all business units at MLCL through collaboration, support and sharing of information that will contribute to the overall success of MLCL
- Ensuring core regulatory risk and obligations are adhered to
- Adopting, driving and delivering operational excellence initiatives
- Managing and delivering to Claims operational expense budget
- Developing and deploying employee engagement plan
**About You**
You are an experienced People Manager with 5+ years operations experience, including management of large operational teams 30+ (desirable)
Ideally, you have obtained tertiary qualifications: Bachelor Business, Commerce, or similar (preferred)
You demonstrate 5+ years insurance experience including Claims Management and knowledge of legislation and regulations affecting the life industry
